After the Research...
After the research paper, I was reminded how much I love my major and how much I am going to enjoy doing this for the rest of my life. I am excited to do graphic design and I can't wait to fully get into the work field to build my portfolio and get started with my career.
The strategies that worked for me were surprising. I had done a whole lot of research before I started writing, but as I wrote I found that I kept changing my mind on the direction I wanted to go in. That made it so that I had to find more research to back up my points. So, I found it helpful to write and then find research as I go and not worry so much about finding all of it beforehand.
My goals for next assignment is to get a good head start and to find good, clear, and helpful research in the beginning and throughout my paper so that I can have a clear direction that I want to go in.
From my research, I learned more about different forms of branding and why it is important for companies to spend the money on building their branding and marketing. I enjoyed my topic and I found that I enjoyed writing it also.

It's good that you were able to be flexible in your approach. Often people get caught up on focusing on their idea and don't grow from writing a paper.

ReplyDeleteI totally can relate to finding new research as you write! I almost felt overwhelmed with all the research I found before writing but once I started actually writing it was easier for me to narrow down my topic and choose the most important aspects to write about... which then I had to find research to back up my claims. That's awesome that you picked a topic that interests you and you care about!
